Towards the Fourth European Conference on Sustainable Cities & Towns (Aalborg+10)
The survey on the state-of-art of Local Agenda 21 in Italy involved more than 500 Italian Local Authorities Local involved in Local Agenda 21 members of the European Campaign for Sustainable Cities and the Italian Co-ordination for Local Agenda 21.
The report, structured in several sections assess LA21 processes relating to organisation, participation, problem issues, Action Plans, implementation, monitoring, results achieved, obstacles and perspective, provides an updated and useful monitoring and information tool for supporting Local Agenda 21 co-ordinators, decision makers and stakeholders involved in governance policies for local sustainability.

This CD provides a methodological support for teachers and Local Authorities co-ordinators for building Local Agenda 21 in schools and contains a survey of several experiences in the Emilia Romagna Region, techniques for facilitation. video experiences, a bibliography and a web sites list.
